1. Who we are
Airbrush by Kolors is Ruben's airbrush and mural business, based in Fort Worth, Texas, serving Fort Worth, Arlington, Burleson, Mansfield, Weatherford, Dallas and nearby. Ruben paints every piece himself: murals, helmets, motorcycles and car parts, clothing and shoes, event pieces, and other custom work.
By asking for a quote, paying a deposit, or using the customer portal at www.airbrushbykolors.com, you agree to these terms. If something here doesn't work for your job, say so before you book and we'll talk it through.
2. Quotes
Ruben quotes every job himself, usually within one business day. A quote is based on what you tell us: the item or wall, its size, the design and level of detail, the location, and your deadline. Any rates shown on this site are a guide, not a quote.
If the job changes after you've been quoted (a bigger wall, more detail, a new design, extra surface prep), the price can change too. Ruben will tell you the new price before doing the extra work, never after.
3. Deposit and payment
- 50% deposit to book. Your spot on the schedule is held once the deposit is paid.
- The balance is due when the piece is finished, before it's handed over or shipped, or at the end of on-site work, unless you've agreed something different with Ruben in writing.
- You can pay through the link on your invoice when online payment is available, or pay Ruben directly. All prices are in US dollars.
4. Sketch approval and progress photos
Before any paint goes on, Ruben sends you a sketch or mockup of the design. Painting starts once you approve it. Adjustments at the sketch stage are part of the job; a completely new design after you've approved one may be quoted as extra.
You'll get progress photos while the piece is being painted. Airbrush work is done by hand, so the finished piece follows the approved sketch, but small differences in color and detail from a sketch or a screen are normal.
5. Your reference images and ideas
When you send photos, logos, artwork or other reference images, you're confirming that you own them or have permission to use them for your piece. You're responsible for any claim that comes from images you supplied.
Ruben may decline to paint a logo, a trademarked character, or a real person's likeness if he doesn't think it can be done properly or with the right permission. He'll tell you up front and suggest an alternative where he can.
6. On-site work and walls
- Access: you agree to give access to the work area at the agreed times, and to keep the area safe and clear while the work is going on.
- Wall prep: the quote says what surface preparation is included. If the wall turns out to need repairs, cleaning or priming beyond that, Ruben will tell you and quote it before going ahead.
- Permission: if the wall isn't yours (a rented building, a shared wall, a business in a leased space), or it's an exterior wall, you're responsible for getting the owner's, landlord's or association's consent and any permit the city requires before painting starts.
- Weather: outdoor work depends on the weather. Rain, cold or high wind can move a date; you'll hear about it as soon as Ruben knows.
7. Items you drop off or ship
For helmets, tanks, panels, shoes, jackets and other items, please bring or send them clean and ready to paint, and point out any existing damage. Ruben takes good care of your item while it's with him.
Items travelling by mail or carrier, to us or back to you, are at your risk while in transit. For anything valuable, we recommend insuring the shipment. Please collect finished pieces promptly, and let Ruben know if you'll need more time.
8. Timing
Every piece is different, so Ruben gives you a date with your quote. Need it by a date? Say so up front and Ruben will tell you honestly if it can be done. Dates are good-faith estimates: weather, waiting on approvals or materials, and changes to the design can move them. If a date is going to slip, you'll be told promptly.
9. Cancellations and changes
The deposit holds your place on the schedule and pays for the design time and materials that go into your piece. Once work has started (sketching, buying materials, or painting), the deposit covers that work and isn't refunded if you cancel.
If you need to cancel, move your date, or change the design, tell Ruben as soon as you can. The earlier he knows, the more he can do for you.
10. If something isn't right
If the finished piece doesn't match what you approved, tell Ruben when you see it and he'll work with you to put it right. Because every piece is custom and painted for you, finished work can't be returned for a change of mind.
Paint on outdoor walls and everyday items wears over time with sun, weather and use. Ruben will tell you how to look after your piece.
11. Photos of finished work
Ruben may share photos of finished work in his portfolio and on his social media. If you'd rather your piece isn't shown, just say so and it won't be.
Faces, license plates and the inside of your home are only shown with your permission.
12. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, our liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.
13. Texas law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. The terms in place when you paid your deposit apply to your job.
